Vanya is a seasoned consultant and media specialist with over 20 years of experience in consulting, financial journalism, marketing and communications. She has held senior editorial and advisory roles with leading global organisations and has worked at the intersection of media, strategy, and international affairs.
Vanya began her career as a journalist with the BBC, Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal, where she reported on global markets and interviewed central bankers, finance ministers, and CEOs of FTSE 100 companies. She later consulted for Financial Times Strategies, advising on content and media strategy, and served as Managing Editor at Dialogue Earth, leading coverage on environment and policy. Her consulting work has extended to media organisations in Asia, including Indonesia and the Philippines, as well as communications in conflict zones with United Nations Civil Affairs.
